Leading Wakefield marketing agency, Northern Media has recently secured an order from Ossett based Alternative Drainage to produce five micro-websites.
As part of a wider growth strategy, the purpose of the micro-websites will be to target customers searching on Google for specific products such as drain repair or septic tanks, in specific locations, such as Wakefield, Leeds and Huddersfield.
Whilst each micro-website will carry a consistent design, the content, images, gallery and news pages will feature items that are unique to that product, service or location. This will not only achieve a higher click to conversion ratio, but it will also help drive the search engine ranking of the website on Google.
Google analytics will be installed to capture search traffic data, whilst each website will also feature a unique call monitoring number and email address. Reports will be issued to Alternative on a monthly basis to prove value and assess the impact of any future activity.
Commenting on the order, Jonathan Scott Sales Director added, “We have been working with Alternative for over three years now, so we really understand what they are trying to achieve. Despite the recession, Alternative Drainage recognises the importance of investing in ‘website real estate’ and understands the long term benefit this will have for their business”
The five micro-websites are expected to go live at the end of April.
