Northern Media has been sponsoring the Wrenthorpe Rangers FC Under 10s for a whole four years now, and it has been another great season for them, having once again reached the semi-finals of the Garforth Junior Football League Champions League.
To commemorate all of the players and staff at Wrenthorpe Rangers FC, the club recently had its annual club trophy day for the Under 5s to Under 14s teams, and it proved to be a fantastic occasion for everyone involved.
Taking place on Saturday June 18th at the Wrenthorpe Sports and Social Club, the event saw all the players receive trophies. It was great fun for everybody, with a barbecue set up as well as a cake stall, inflatables and tombola.
Specific awards were also given to the highest achieving players of the season, so we’d like to extend a big congratulations to the following players:
– Sonny Kilkenny and Callum Elliott (joint), Players’ Player of the Year.
– Callum Elliott, Coaches’ Player of the Year.
– Leyton Sykes and Bradley Carter (joint), Supporters’ Player of the Year.
– Harry Embleton, Most Improved Player.
Chris Elliott, Managing Director of Northern Media, said:
“The entire team at Northern Media is pleased to see the Wrenthorpe Rangers FC Under 10s and the club in general do well once again. We’ve been proud sponsors of them for four years now and in that time there has been great progress in terms of success.
"Taking an active role in the development of youth is important to us here at Northern Media – our staff, mostly comprised of young adults, attests to that fact. We are extremely proud to sponsor Wrenthorpe Rangers FC and we hope to see the club achieve even more success next season.”
