Northern Media has secured a twelve month search engine optimisation contract with ecommerce client ‘Spares Direct’.
Having built and launched the website in November, Spares Direct were keen to drive the ranking of the website for about two hundred keywords. The initial phase of the project will involve focusing on around ten keywords, such as ‘Cooker Spares’ and ‘Dishwasher Spares’ which carry around 300,000 searches a month on Google.
SEO work will include:
– Writing article content and Link Building
– Adding content to the on-site blog
– Writing content for their facebook page
– Adding content to the product pages
– Adding content to the product category pages
– Adding content to the product sub-category pages
– Writing guides for internal posting
– Adding H1 headers & page titles
– Checking the meta titles, descriptions & data
– Writing a page of content around each manufacturer
In addition to the technical SEO work, Northern Media has installed Google Analytics on the ecommerce website so that it can provide keyword and traffic analysis to Spares Direct on a monthly basis. Northern Media will also provide the client with a keyword ranking report and a call monitoring report to provide a complete picture on the websites monthly performance.
