Website Case Study - Juice Personnel

The Objective

With their head office in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, Juice Personnel are a leading provider of professional recruitment services to the logistics, motor and commercial markets.

Juice Personnel approached Northern Media in 2015 because they felt their existing website didn’t really reflect the strengths of their business, nor did it communicate the depth of Juice’s knowledge and experience across various industry sectors.

Ultimately, Juice wanted a website that mirrored the personality of the business and promoted their services through their strongest asset – their team of people. One of Juice’s key routes to market is through LinkedIn and outbound tele-marketing, so it was key that the website played a support role to that strategy.

Solutions offered

The first part of the web development project was to fully understand Juice Personnel’s business: services, USPs, strengths, culture, people, target market, target locations, market opportunities. The second phase was to understand what Juice wanted the website to achieve in terms of enquiries, revenue and profit. Once the objectives of were confirmed, the second phase of the project was to produce a range of concept boards.

Juice were very specific about how they wanted the website to look and feel, in particular using lots of staff and team shots to reflect their strengths and their people focused culture. This led us to use one of our preferred partners, Tanya Lloyd Photography, to capture some fantastic and natural in situ portrait and group shots.

Following discussions about Juice’s range of services, their sector specialisms and the keywords they wanted to optimise the website for, a comprehensive sitemap was produced, forming the basis for the build.

Build bespoke in, with a fully bespoke CMS (content management system), the thirty five page website has some nice features and functionality including, Job Search, CV upload, Apply for Vacancy and Candidate of the week.

The Results

In addition to being really pleased with the end product, Juice have received some fantastic feedback from clients and candidates about their website. In the two years following launch, permanent placements have more than doubled, which the website and the SEO campaign have helped achieve. In addition to the SEO campaign, Northern Media also design and write a monthly e-newsletter for Juice, which has placed a key role in driving the growth of repeat purchasing from existing clients.
