Circus Starr is a professional touring circus which provides free seats for thousands of disadvantaged children across the UK whilst also raising money for local charities. This year our team contributed £75.00 to the not-for-profit organisations winter 2016 tour which will help the charity provide £1.3 million worth of free tickets to young children, their families and community groups.
Chris Elliott, managing director at Northern Media, said:
“Circus Starr is a unique charity whose approach to raising money and bettering the lives of vulnerable children has always been admired by our Wakefield office. It is their time, commitment and positivity that always draws us to their organisation, and hopefully our donation will help them put on a good show for the young people in Wakefield when they visit later this year. I look forward to seeing the performance and we look forward to working with them again in the near future.”
The Northern Media team aren’t strangers to supporting local charities and organisations, with the company donating to a range of causes in 2015. In September, sales director Jonathan Scott and marketing executive Anthony Bowyer ran the Catterick Para 10 mile run for Wakefield children’s charity Levi’s Star. Whilst the company also sponsored local charities and sports teams including Wakefield Hospice, Wrenthorpe Rangers U9s football team, Leeds-based SkyRac Athletics Club and Huddersfield-based Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.
Northern Media is a full service marketing and design agency based in Wakefield City Centre. Their services, which include branding, digital marketing and web design, have been highly regarded across the city for years.
