The Northern Media web development team have successfully launched their most comprehensive website project to date for one of the UK’s leading suppliers of timber doors and associated products, XL Joinery.
The new website is aimed to meet the expectations of XL Joinery who wanted their new site to be modern, easy to use and able to generate enquiries for their customer base.
Throughout the design and site building process, the Northern Media design and web development team worked together to create a website that has the functionality of an e-commerce site without the ability to sell online. That’s because XL Joinery sell their products via builder’s merchants and retailers and not directly to the end user.

“XL Joinery acknowledged the need to update their existing website which meant that they knew that their new site needed to be more interactive and more of an experience for the user. It always helps when the client understands the issues with their current marketing tools, as it enables our team to sit down and focus on improving what is already there quicker.

The new fully responsive website allows the user to configure the specific products that they want, which is then formulated into an enquiry and emailed to their nearest builder’s merchant or retailer.
