Northern Media were particularly active during Wakefield Business Week, networking, watching seminars, lunching, attending training and generally enjoying the buzz around the event.
Sales Director, Jonathan Scott attended the ‘4N breakfast meeting’ and ‘The Business Network’ lunch organised by Caroline Coward. Commenting on the events, he added “The Business Network in particular was a great networking event. In my opinion, the format finds the perfect balance between open networking and formal structure, the latter of which occurs when seven visitors sit around a table and present their businesses to the other members. I made some excellent contacts during the meeting and hope to develop those relationships over the coming months”
Managing Director Chris Elliott attended several seminars, one of which was on data security. He added, “Whilst there weren’t many attendees, the seminar was extremely informative. We have a growing number of ecommerce clients so data security is becoming increasingly important to us”
Northern Media marketing executive Anthony Bowyer, attended two seminars on the subjects of ‘Brand Identification and Consistency’ & ‘Social Media’, held at Jordans Solicitors head office in Wakefield. He added, “Both seminars were well presented, informative, organised and punctual. I will certainly be looking out for more seminars during next year’s Wakefield Business Week”
After discussing the benefits of presenting and exhibiting at the event with several of this years exhibitors, Northern Media are already planning to use next years’ event as a platform to increase brand awareness.
