Northern Media are Mad 4 Footy!

Wakefield based marketing agency Northern Media are delighted to announce that they will be the main sponsor of the Under 7’s team of Wrenthorpe Rangers Football Club for the upcoming 2012/13 season.

Wrenthorpe Rangers FC was formed in 1997 by a few local parents who thought that their children should have the opportunity to play football within their own village.

The club has evolved over the last 15 years and in 2003/4 Wrenthorpe Rangers was awarded the Charter Development Standard which recognises the efforts and hard work of many involved in growing the Club and establishing a solid foundation and  culture which will sustain the future growth of the Club.

In addition in 2010/11 Wrenthorpe Rangers was awarded Community Amateur Sports Club status, in recognition of the exceptional community ties the Club enjoys.

Wrenthorpe Rangers play in the Garforh Junior League and the Under 7s’ first game is against Garforth Rangers on Sunday 9th September 2012.

As part of the sponsorship, Northern Media will supply the team’s new playing kit which is embossed with their logo.

"It’s great to suppport a local community football club who are passionate about nurturing young people. Clubs like Wrenthorpe Rangers are not just about sport, they are about having fun, getting exercise and devloping friendships and you can’t put a price on that,” comments Chris Elliott, Managing Director at Northern Media.

"Northern Media are big football supporters across all levels and we look forward to keeping up to date with the Under 7s over the season and wish them good luck for 2012/13."
