Email Marketing strategy implemented for MJ Backhouse

Digital Marketing agency, Northern Media has recently completed an email marketing campaign on behalf of Yorkshire’s leading pest control company, MJ Backhouse.

MJ Backhouse approached Northern Media with the general brief of:

a) Wanting to keep in touch with their existing clients more frequently and efficiently
b) Keep their existing clients up to date with changes within the business
c) Communicate positive news with their customers
d) Drive clients to their website, which contains lots of valuable information
e) Reach out to lapsed clients who for whatever reason, had ceased trading with the business

Northern Media devised a simple, low cost electronic flyer designed to communicate useful and interesting information with the aim of encouraging readers to click through to their group website. The flyer is to be distributed monthly to the whole MJ Backhouse database.
As the email marketing campaign develops, the plan is to evolve the information emailed out to include such things as articles, guides and competitions, to engage and involve readers with the aim of retaining interest.

Commenting on the electronic flyer, partner Darren Backhouse added, “The electronic flyer is really just a quick and cost effective way to keep in touch with our customers. We have quite a few hundred customers, and things like legislation is always changing, so we find that electronic mailers are a great way to deliver key information to our audience in the shortest possible time. Equally, we have customers that have lapsed, and it just keeps our name and brand in front of our target customers, should they decide ever to consider coming back”
