Friday the 15th of December was a very festive day at the Northern Media office as we took part in the National Christmas Jumper Day.
The team joined the nationwide event by wearing Christmas jumpers to work to help raise money for Save The Children. National Christmas Jumper day is one of the UK’s best-supported events by businesses and we are proud to do our bit to help the cause.
Save the Children is a charity that aims to give every child the best possible start to life. The charity helps give children all around the world opportunities to learn life skills but most importantly protect them from harm. Through a number of different ways, the charity ultimately helps children transform their lives and give them a brighter future.
Everybody in the team was happy to take part with Chris, Tom and Courtney all sporting a Rudolph themed jumper, Owen wearing a Santa top and Ewan with his homemade starry hat. It all helped to raise funds for the charity and the final donation was £50.
Northern Media further added to the festivities by using this day to give out our Secret Santa presents. At Northern Media, we try to create a happy and friendly environment where all our staff and clients feel warm and welcome.
Managing Director Chris Elliott Said: “
“We tend to get festive at Northern Media near Christmas and all of our staff were happy to put on our Christmas jumpers to support Save The Children. It is a fantastic charity that does a lot of good work across the country and the world to help disadvantaged children. Wearing our Xmas jumpers and making a donation is something we are all happy to do to show our support”.
