Northern Media has recently launched a new website for leading global ‘scaffold based event structures’ company, Acorn Event Structures. The new website features Acorn’s three core products, Scaffold Structures, Staging Structures & Bespoke Structures, and offers customers product information, images, clients and case studies to support their proposition.
The events industry is forever evolving as organisers consistently look to make their annual events different, bigger and more exciting. Therefore Acorn is consistently developing new staging designs and investing in new equipment to meet changing demand. The key to the success of the website was therefore in the first instance, feature the major events Acorn were involved with and secondly to continuously refresh the information to showcase new projects.
Other features on the website include embedding Acorn’s Twitter feed into the home page of the website, and a news page to feature such things as planned projects, competed projects, company news and product developments.

Key to the success of the website was to impress, build credibility and suggest scale on the home page, in order to retain interest, which I certainly think we have achieved”
The second phase of the project is expected to see Northern Media begin SEO work on the site to drive it’s ranking up Google’s natural search results. This might include addingvideo content featuring some of Acorn’s major events in their annual calendar.
