Northern Media develop new interactive website for XL Joinery

The Objective

XL Joinery, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of timber doors and associated products, recently employed the help of Northern Media to redevelop their website. The client wanted their new site to be modern, easy to use and most importantly, able to generate enquires for their customer base.

As XL Joinery sell their products via builder’s merchants and retailers and not directly to the end user, they did not require an e-commerce site but still wanted the site to be interactive and more of an experience for the user.

Solutions offered

Northern Media sat down with the client to discuss current issues and discover what exactly they wanted from their new website. After establishing the key objectives we worked with our creative designers to brainstorm ideas for an interactive design with professional, high-quality branding.

The Results

Northern Media’s design and web development team then worked together closely to create a website that has all the functionality of an e-commerce site without the ability to sell online. Feedback on the new website from both customers and end-users has been very positive. The new fully responsive website allows the user to configure the specific products that they want, which is then formulated into an enquiry and emailed to their nearest builder’s merchant or retailer. This has created a new simple way for the client to generate enquiries and increase revenue.
