Towndoor improve online visibility through SEO campaign
Towndoor are a Huddersfield based commercial property development business with nearly 30 years’ experience in the industry. Despite being a well-known and established company, Towndoor had very little online local presence. All keywords that were identified as relevant to their target audience were found on the fourth or fifth page of most major search engines. Towndoor therefore approached Northern Media to employ the expertise of our Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) specialists to improve their online presence and generate traffic to their site.
Northern Media worked closely with the client to develop an effective SEO strategy. This included a comprehensive keyword and traffic analysis, where our SEO specialists identified relevant keywords for a complete review of the Towndoor website’s content and structure. To improve website search rankings Northern Media proposed our experienced copywriters generated blog articles on relevant industry and company updates for the website’s news page.
The carefully implemented campaign began to produce results and Towndoor in turn established a strong local online presence. Over 60 keywords are now on the top two pages of Google with the majority being on the first page, even when contending with the likes a major national competitors such as Rightmove and Zoopla. Their search visibility has increased drastically, jumping 500 positions between January 2015 and August 2016.
This has resulted in a significant increase of potential customers and clients to the Towndoor website. Organic traffic has increased in the past year from around 250 visits per month, up to over 430 every month and continues to grow.
