Northern Media brush up their LinkedIn skills

This January, Northern Media invited Jason Squires, a social media trainer, to the office to give the team a refresher course on LinkedIn.

Though the team have over 20 years’ combined experience in marketing, Northern Media frequently attend training events to strengthen their skills and refresh their knowledge in all areas of the industry. Anthony Bowyer, Marketing Executive at Northern Media, attended a social media training event with Jason early on in his career, and was so impressed that the team invited him back to give a talk on the benefits of LinkedIn.

All the staff at Northern Media are active users of LinkedIn and Jason Squires is a fellow social media expert.

Chris Elliott, Managing Director at Northern Media said, “It was really interesting to discuss LinkedIn and its different uses, and the half day course enabled us to work on our current skills and to determine strategies to best use LinkedIn to drive more business for our clients.

“Jason obviously has a lot of experience using LinkedIn and we hope to see the benefits of our training as part of our social media campaigns for clients throughout 2015.”

Chris Elliott, Jonathan Scott, Carolanne Minter, Anthony Bowyer and Jess Venson are all contactable through LinkedIn.
