A big well done to Northern Media’s own Marketing Executive Helen, who along with Bex from Juice Personnel, completed a charity skydive last month in aid of Wakefield Hospice!
Helen and Bex have been hard a work fundraising since the beginning of the year, raising as much as they could before their 15,000 ft jump over the Lincolnshire countryside, the highest in the country! Although postponed twice due to the Great British Weather, it proved third time lucky for the girls who completed the jump on 25th March at a bright and sunny Hibaldstow Airfield.
Helen, Bex and the rest of the Wakefield Hospice jumpers have managed to raise an impressive £6500 so far with donations still coming in, all of which will go towards the great work the hospice do for those with progressive and life threatening illnesses and their families. So congratulations to everyone involved!
Speaking about the day, Helen said “Finally getting up in that plane and falling through the air at over 100mph was a truly unforgettable experience! Made all the better by knowing the money raised was going to such a good cause.
“It was great to be able to share the entire experience with Bex, from fundraising right through to being sat on the edge of the plane! Together the two of us raised almost £900 (and counting!) of the final total which we couldn’t have done without the support of Northern Media and Juice Personnel. So a massive thank you to everyone who donated and shared their support!”
