Northern Media client, ASD Appliances in Morley, Leeds have reported a 25% increase in referred organic traffic to their ecommerce website, resulting in the growth of online ‘appliance spares’ sales.
Started in January 2012, the SEO strategy first involved identifying and discussing ASD’s main target keywords. With over 5,000 related words and phrases to choose from, 12 main keywords were chosen to optimise. Collectively, these keywords were searched around 250,000 searches a month on Google.
Over the last seven months, Northern Media’s team of SEO specialists have been pursuing an aggressive link building campaign, which has included online article posting and digital PR, through numerous digital channels. As a result of the campaign, 7 of the 12 keywords (representing around 200,000 searches a month) now appear on page one of Google, with all 7 keywords sitting within the top seven positions (as at 24/08/2012).
